What does this service involve?

Carpet extraction uses a machine to apply cleaning solution and recover moisture and loosened soil. It is different from routine dry vacuuming. Christian checks the carpet and its condition before recommending a suitable approach.

What Emerald’s service includes

  1. Inspect and agree on the area. Discuss the carpet, visible concerns, furniture and access during an on-site visit.
  2. Vacuum and prepare. Vacuum the area and prepare the carpet before extraction cleaning.
  3. Extract with carpet equipment. Work through the agreed area with the carpet-cleaning machine to remove loosened dirt and recover moisture.
  4. Support drying. Use fans to help the area dry and discuss when the carpet can be used again.

Is it right for your space?

Suitable carpets in offices, shops and other commercial spaces. The carpet material, condition and maintenance requirements matter. Ask Christian about the specific carpet before booking; upholstery, rugs and flood restoration are not assumed to be included.

Frequently asked questions

Is carpet extraction the same as vacuuming?

No. Vacuuming removes loose dry debris. Extraction uses cleaning solution and suction for a deeper clean. Emerald vacuums before extraction.

Is this steam cleaning?

People sometimes use that phrase for extraction cleaning, but equipment and water temperature can differ. Ask Christian about the method for your carpet; Emerald’s service described here is machine extraction.

How long will the carpet take to dry?

Drying depends on the carpet, moisture, airflow and room conditions. Fans help the process, but an exact drying or reopening time needs to be discussed for your space.

Will every stain disappear?

Results depend on the stain, carpet material and any existing damage. Christian can assess visible concerns; complete stain removal is not guaranteed.

Do I need to move furniture first?

Discuss furniture and equipment during the visit. The areas to be cleaned and who prepares them should be agreed before work starts.

How much does commercial carpet cleaning cost?

Christian visits and measures before quoting. Area, condition, access and preparation affect the scope and price.
