Floor and restroom care for supermarket environments
Supermarkets are a core area of Emerald’s cleaning experience. Christian has equipment for commercial floor cleaning and stripping and waxing, along with restroom cleaning. Each project starts with a visit to assess the surfaces, aisle access and agreed work areas.
Machine cleaning of aisles
Christian sweeps the contracted area, uses an automatic floor scrubber on suitable VCT or concrete, and completes a final sweep. Where appropriate, VCT polishing can be included to improve the finish’s appearance.
Stripping and waxing compatible floors
When old finish needs removal, the process includes preparing the area, removing the existing finish, working on edges and corners, and applying new finish—typically three or four coats, as suitable for the project.
Customer and staff restrooms
Restroom cleaning can include toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, doors, floors and trash. Pressure washing is a separate option assessed only for suitable tiled areas and site conditions.

Does this include food-preparation equipment?
No. The services described focus on agreed floor and restroom areas. Food-contact equipment, refrigeration interiors and specialist sanitation are not included in this scope.
Can you work while the store is open?
Access and separation of work areas must be agreed with the manager. The schedule also needs to allow for drying where required; availability is confirmed before booking.
